With autumn the soup season begins. Because let's face it: who wants to cook or eat soup at 30 degrees. I surly do not want. Well, I'm not talking of cold soups. You can prepare them during the summer. Since you don’t even have to turn on the stove. Now it's getting colder and soups are more than welcome. My first soup I cooked is this delicious potato soup with chanterelles. A simple potato soup was too boring for me, so I spiced it a bit up. And the result is just WOW.

I have told you in the previous post that I just had buy the figs when I saw them. What I didn’t tell you is that I have once again bought too many. So I had 2 unused figs. I had to use them before they go bad. But I had no idea what to cook/ bake with them. When I browsed on Pinterest, I found a picture of the baked Camembert with figs and honey. And so I knew what I'm going to bake next.

What I like about autumn are the seasonal products. Finally you can finds again figs, pears, plums, pumpkins, chestnuts or different mushrooms. What I do not like about fall are the low temperatures. Especially when they drop from one day to the other. Since a cold is almost inevitable. But I am looking forward to cooking with the above ingredients. When I saw figs, I just bought them. And then I knew what I was going to prepare with them – this fine tartelettes with goat cheese, honey and figs. Do not worry if you do not like goat cheese –you can take normal cream cheese. That should not be an obstacle for not baking this tartelettes. :)

Today all my meat-loving readers will be happy, because I finally posted again a dish containing meat. As you already know my meat consumption is very low. Especially in the summer. Unfortunately, the summer is (currently) over, so now we can cook something else then salads. I have cooked the last weekend this beef stew with carrots and now I share the recipe with you.

But about today's berries cake I am a bit proud ... because it does not only tastes good but it also looks good. At least this is my opinion. Well, you cannot do a lot wrong here...but still. Because I like the theme and I love to eat pasta, I've decided to join her picnic. After some thinking I opted for a pasta salad with cherry tomatoes, baby mozzarella, Parma ham and rocket salad, because this dish tastes very good no matter if you serve it warm or cold.
