The weather was not particularly nice this week in Vienna. It rained a lot and it was pretty cool. I really wondered if the summer was already over. The good thing about it was that I have cooked again. When it is warm in the summer, my oven usually stays cold. But now I could make the stove hot without having 100 degrees in the apartment. And so I used this time to bake again pizza. I have not done this for a long time and I really wanted to eat a homemade pizza.
Usually I make the dough after this recipe. This time I had to try a different recipe. Why that? Well, before I started cooking I discovered that I had no more yeast in the house. So I tried a recipe for yeast-free dough. The dough is very crispy. For the topping I only used pizza sauce, brie and pears. I wanted to use also walnuts but I had none at home J. I like this pizza, I hope you too.
You need:
For the dough
For the topping:
250 g wheat flour
125 ml of water
1 pear
½ tbsp yogurt
Brie
5 g of salt
15 ml of olive oil
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Pizzas: 2
This is how we proceed:
Add 125 g of flour and the remaining
ingredients to a bowl and mix. Cover with cling film and allow resting for 30
minutes. Add remaining flour and knead to dough. Cover again with cling film
and let stand for another 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 250°C.
Divide the dough into 2. On a
dusted surface, roll the dough out into a rough circle using a rolling pin. Lay on baking trays.
Spread tomato sauce on the dough. Top with pears and brie cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and enjoy.
