3D - Christmas cookie tree

3D - Christmas cookie tree
If you are looking for a last-minute Christmas recipe, then you are here just right. Many of us start early baking Christmas cookies. But just as many have no time and no desire to bake from the 1st of December (or even earlier). We always say we have enough time. But then we realized that in 2-3 days it’s Christmas and we haven’t baked anything. But do not panic, I have the solution for you. These Christmas trees are delicious and look also wonderful. And they are also fast to make.

Panettone

Panettone

I admit…I was really afraid to bake panettone. Especially when I read on Zorra’s blog that she needed a lot of tries, until she finally managed to bake a panettone. And she is an experienced baker. But her recipe is too complex for me and I do not have the patience to try it out. So I was determined to give up the project "panettone". But then I discovered on Kevin’s blog a simpler recipe...and decided to try it out. Well, Kevin is also a bake expert, but no risk, no fun :)

Vanilla crescents

Vanilla crescents

I finally start publishing Christmas recipes. I know it's a bit late, but I do not to bake beginning form the middle of November Christmas cookies. Even though I start a little later, I have enough time to show you 2-3 Christmas recipes and 1-2 gift ideas. Without any stress. I start with a classic Christmas cookie recipe - vanilla crescent. There are a lot of recipes for vanilla crescents...I chose the variant without egg. The dough was a bit too crumbly so I will surely try other recipes out. But even if the dough was crumbly, you can mold it with some patience to delicious crescents.

Crunchy rings

The 2nd Christmas cookie recipe that I want to share with you, are this crunchy rings. I have baked them this year for the first time. This 2 weeks ago, in the meantime, they are all gone. Therefore I have to bake a new tin these days. The recipe I have from the "Cooking" magazine.

Cinnamon cookies

Cinnamon cookies

Many of my fellow blog colleagues have already begun some weeks ago to post Christmas recipes. And although I have already baked some Christmas cookie, I did not want to start posting them in November. Now the first week of December has passed and now I can open the Christmas bakery officially.

Orange liqueur

Orange liqueur

I wanted to make orange liqueur for a long time. But I didn’t have a recipe. Don’t get me wrong, the internet is full of recipes for orange liqueur. But that is the problem: the recipes are so different, so I didn’t know which one to pick. In some recipes you only used the orange peel, and in some the whole orange. Some you have to leave for months to infuse while others only 1 week. So which recipe should I pick? I even asked my food-blogger friend Verena from Sweets and lifestyle if she has a good recipe, as her boyfriend is distiller. But even they had no recipe. So I decided to create my own recipe. And it worked out and I got a very delicious orange liqueur. And since the orange liqueur is suitable as a Christmas gift, I publish the recipe today. So you still have time to make one yourself.

Christmas muffins

Dear readers, I'm back after a short unforeseen break from the blog. This can happen when you do not plan any blog posts in advance and then, due to the everyday program you just do not get to write. But now I'm here, and this is what counts. It is not so long until Christmas and I wanted to give you some ideas about what you could bake for Christmas. This time I don’t have recipes for classic biscuits, as I did not have time to bake some. The first recipe I want to share with you is one for Christmas muffins. Here is the recipe:

Sweet bread loaves

Sweet bread loaves

A dear work colleague brought me some cookies from her favorite spa. I was happy about this and then I get on working. Later, I wanted to eat something sweet and so I tried one of the biscuits. And I was instantly in love. They are so delicious, you can not imagine. After all the "Ohhhh" and "Ahhhh" and "Mmmmm" and "Whoa, are the delicious" I read what I actually eat. On the packet it was written: sweet loaf of bread. And what do I do next? You guessed it...I am looking for a recipe on the internet. I found one and after that I baked them...ok, not quite after then but Saturday I baked this sweet bread loaves. I tell you something...someone has to hide them from me...they taste so good.
