In December I received an email from Tchibo*, with the question if I want to participate to their Blog Parade "vitamin bomb". Of course I answered "yes". As you know I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, so the theme fits very well to me. After much thinking I decided to take part with a Smoothie bowl recipe. Smoothie bowl is a new breakfast trend - the smoothie, which is slightly less fluid than usual, comes along with various toppings in a bowl. So you have a very healthy breakfast.
You need:
For the smoothie:
½
pineapple
1
banana
1
apple
2
handful spinach
2
cm fresh ginger
juice
from ½ orange
For the topping:
½
banana
½
apple
2
pineapple slices
juice
from ½ orange
Servings:

Preparation
time: 15 minutes
This is how we proceed:
For the smoothie peel banana, pineapple and ginger. Cut into pieces. Wash apple, quarter and remove the core. Wash spinach. Put everything in the blender or smoothie maker and mix well. Pour in a bowl.
For the topping cut banana, apple and pineapple slices in small pieces. I used the fruit and vegetable cutter from Tchibo because I wanted equal pieces. A knife also works. Place the pieces of fruit and the granola in the bowl and your smoothie bowl is ready.
