Sometimes a food blogger does crazy things. In order to prepare this ice I got up during the week at 6:30 and at 7o'clock, the mixture was in the ice machine. Luckily I did not make a lot of noise...at least none of my neighbors complained. At 7:45 I was already on the way to work and the ice was already photographed. Yes, I know...I'm crazy 😁
You need:
200
g cream cheese150 ml yoghurt
250
ml cream
5
tbsp icing sugar
250
g currants
This is how we proceed:
- Give cream cheese, yogurt, cream and icing sugar in a bowl and stir until creamy.
- Wash currants, put in a sieve and let the water drain. Remove from stem and puree. Fold under the ice cream mixture.
- Fill the ice mixture in an ice cream maker and process to ice cream. If you don’t have an ice machine, then give the mixture in a container and freeze for 4-6 hours. Stir from time to time.
The currant cheesecake ice is very refreshing and not sweet. If you like it sweet, then you have to add a little more powdered sugar.
Do you also do such crazy things? My colleagues were very happy that I brought the ice. They said from now on I can bring ice more often.
