I am back. Ah ... the holiday was so nice, why it is always so short? In addition to amazing places I have eaten a lot of delicious food: seafood, a lot of pasta, pizza and ice cream. I did not buy souvenirs this time but I brought a long list of dishes that I want to cook. Since I arrived yesterday evening, I didn’t have time to cook something (also because my fridge is empty), therefore here is a recipe that is waiting since an eternity to be posted: spicy pizza margherita. Pizza...Italy...vacation...this recipe is perfect:)
You need*:
1
portion pizza dough
200
g pizza sauce
1
small onion
15
olives
250
g Mozzarella
2
chili peppers
2
tbsp olive oil
salt
pepper
*für 2
Pizza/ for two pizza
This is how we proceed:
Prepare pizza dough as described here.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Knead the dough again, halve it and shape into balls. Roll the dough out into rough circles on a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin.
Cut Mozzarella into thin slices. Halve olives. Cut onion into thin rings. Mince chilli. Place the pizza base on a baking tray. Spread with pizza sauce. Top with Mozzarella, onions and olives. Sprinkle with chilli and sprinkle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the bottom is crispy and the cheese is melted. Arrange on a plate and serve warm.
