Porridge with baked apple and cinnamon

As you might know, I'm a big porridge fan. I eat it every week. And every time I try to prepare it in a different way - just according to the motto: it should not be boring. The last time I made it with baked apple and cinnamon. And it was so delicious. For this reason, this recipe has also made it on the blog.


You need:

1 apple
120 g oatmeal
750 ml water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp honey


Preparation time: 40 minutes
Servings: 2

This is how we proceed:

  1. Wash apple, dry and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan bring 750 ml water to a boil. Stir in the oatmeal and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. Stir constantly.
  3. Remove porridge from the heat, stir in cinnamon and honey and let stand for 15 minutes.
  4. Peel the apple and remove the core. Mash the apple and fold in. Give the porridge in bowls, sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with apple slices.
