Tiramisù

Tiramisù

Hi! Today we have Tiramisu on the menu. Tiramisu (Italian for "pick me up!") is a widely known Italian dessert.
Tiramisu is made of alternating layers of ladyfingers and cream made of mascarpone, egg yolk and egg white. The ladyfingers are dipped in cold coffee that is flavored with Marsala wine, amaretto, brandy or other alcoholic beverage. The dessert is layered and then cooled for several hours, so that it is firm. Before serving, the final layer of cream is sprinkled with plenty of cocoa powder.

Ingredients:
  • 500g mascarpone
  • 4 eggs (separated into yolks and egg whites)
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 40-60 ladyfingers (I bought a 400g pack, and I did not use all)
  • 300 ml coffee
