Cinnamon balls

Cinnamon balls

At the beginning of the month I promised you that I will show you some Christmas ideas. Today, recipe number 2 goes online. Today I show you cinnamon balls. Well...they are not actually balls, because they change their shape during baking. Nevertheless, the cinnamon balls taste very good, regardless if they are round or not.

You need:

100 g cold butter
150 g flour
75 g sugar
1 egg york
tsp cinnamon
1 pinch of salt

+ 2-3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

ingredients

This is how we proceed:

Cut butter into small pieces.

Knead butter, flour, sugar, egg yolks, salt and cinnamon first with the dough hook, then knead the dough with your hands until you get a smooth dough.

Shape a brick from the dough, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

dough

Shape from the dough balls and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place the balls on a tin lined with baking paper (let 2 cm distance between them) and bake in the preheated oven at 200°C degrees for 8-10 minutes.
