Hello my dear readers! Today is Christmas and I have the honor to be the blogger behind the last door of the Austrian food bloggers advent calendar. Until today another 23 food bloggers have shared their Christmas recipes with us.
Since I am the last, I needed an easy and quick to bake recipe. And it had to be a recipe where you have all the ingredients at home. This if someone wants to try it today, so I've decided for the gingerbread muffins.
We need:
250
g flour
250
ml milk
130
g sugar
60
ml oil
1 egg
2
tsp baking powder
½
tbsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2
tsp mixed spice
This is how we proceed:
Preheat oven to 160°C degrees.
Whisk the egg and mix with sugar, oil and milk.
Mix baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and mixed spices with the flour. Gently fold in the flour mixture with the egg-sugar mixture with a wooden spoon. The batter should be lumpy.
Fill the paper baking cups with dough up to 2/3 and bake on the middle rack for about 20 minutes.
When the muffins cooled down, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
