My dears, today I have a cheeseburger recipe for you. Since I prepared these cheeseburgers quite spontaneously and in the late evening, I took no pictures of the preparation steps. I didn’t plan to post the recipe – but because the burgers tasted so good, I didn’t want to withhold the recipe from you.
You need:
For
the hamburger patties
You
also need:
½
onion
4
burger buns
500
g minced beef
tomato
slices
1
egg
lettuce
leafs
1
tbsp mustard
4
slices of cheese
2
tbsp milk
big
onion
½
tsp salt
tbsp
Butter
½
tsp pepper
1-2
tbsp sugar
½
tsp sweet paprika
ketchup
½
teaspoon thyme
oil
for frying
This is how you
proceed:
- Peel ½ onion, dice finely and mix (preferably with your hands) with the minced beef, egg, mustard and milk. Add salt, pepper, paprika and thyme and mix everything again. Divide the mince mixture into four equal parts and form each part into a round loaf (patty).
- Heat some oil in a pan and over medium heat fry the hamburger patties on both sides for 5-10 minutes. During the last minute of cooking top each hamburger with a slice of cheese
- In a 2nd pan melt the butter. Peel the onion and cut into thin rings. Roast onion in the pan. Sprinkle with sugar and continue roasting.
- Cut the buns in the middle and spread with ketchup or another sauce. Top with lettuce, tomato, patties with cheese and roasted onions. Place the second half of the bun and take a bite.
Serve with fries and a good beer…what do you need more?
