My Halloween series is not over yet, but we still have to eat? Right? So we make a short break from the Halloween recipes. But only a short one...I promise. But today I have for you this recipe for these delicious Dutch baby pancake. I tell you...they taste fabulous. And are so versatile...you can make them like I did with figs or you can use raspberries, strawberries, pears. They will always taste delicious. Have I made you curious?
You need:
2
tbsp butter
110
ml milk
120
g flour
2
eggs
1
pinch salt
fresh
mint
figs
honey
powdered
sugar
This is how we proceed:
Preheat oven to 220°C.
Place butter in an ovenproof pan/ baking dish. Place the pan/ baking dish in the oven.
In the meantime put milk, flour, eggs and salt in a bowl and mix well.
When the butter has melted and begins to form bubbles take pan/ baking dish out of the oven and pour dough in it. Return to the oven and bake for 12 minutes. Place a baking tray in the oven, as the butter may run out.
Take the Dutch baby pancake out of the oven (it will collapse, but this is ok.)
Garnish with fresh figs and mint. Sprinkle with some powdered sugar and serve.
