Dear all, today I have a coffee-liqueur recipe for you. Why a liqueur recipe? Because I think that this liqueur is a great Easter gift. I always am happy when I receive homemade gifts. Don’t you? And if you prepare the liqueur today, there it has enough time to infuse and you have a nice Easter gift for your loved ones.
You need:
200
g roasted coffee beans
1
liter of brandy
3
tsp aniseed
3
cinnamon sticks
1
tbsp vanilla extract
1
liter water
750
g sugar
You
get: 1 liter
Preparation
time: 40 min
Infusing
time: 8 days
Add coffee beans, brandy, aniseed, cinnamon and vanilla extract into a sterilized bottle and leave to rest on the windowsill for 8 days. Shake the bottle from time to time.
After the infusing time, bring 1 liter of water together with the sugar to a boil. Simmer over medium heat until you get a syrup. Allow cooling down.
Filter the coffee-brandy. Mix the sugar solution with the coffee-brandy and pour in sterilized bottles. Stored cool, the coffee liqueur is good for 6-12 months.
