My dear readers, it's time for a new recipe. This time I did not have to think long...I knew exactly what recipe I wanted to publish. As you know, I bought wild garlic about 2 weeks ago. After I had made the ravioli I still had some wild garlic. At first I wanted to bake wild-garlic buns. I saw a recipe on Krisi’s blog. But I changed my mind and baked this pull apart bread. This was on my "to-cook" list for quite some time. As well as wild garlic pesto. And so I took the opportunity and deleted two things from my list 😉 Here comes the recipe for Pull apart bread with wild garlic pesto.
You need:
500
g wheat flour
2
tsp dry yeast
1
pinch sugar
2
tsp salt
300
ml warm water
3
tbsp olive oil
wild
garlic pesto
This is how we proceed:
I have prepared the wild garlic pesto just as in this recipe. Only that instead of basil I used wild garlic (cut off the stalks). And I did not use additional garlic.
Combine flour and yeast in a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and knead everything using a dough hook for about 5 minutes until you get a smooth dough. Cover the dough and leave it in a warm place to rest for at least 1 hour.
Grease the mold.
Knead the dough on a floured working surface and roll it out into a rectangle. Cut the dough into squares. Spread bear garlic pesto on the dough squares.
Stack them and then place them vertically in the mold so that the mold is filled. Leave to rest for another 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 180°C. Bake the bread for 45 minutes, then allow to cool in the mold. I bet it will be a highlight at your Eastern brunch
