Today I have a new recipe for delicious homemade pickles for you. The recipe is very easy to prepare. The great thing about this recipe is that you do not have to wait weeks until the pickles are ready but only 24 hours. Yes, you read correctly...only 24 hours. These pickles are the perfect match for grilled chicken, pork or even hamburger. So the next time you grill then don’t buy them from the supermarket but prepare the, yourself. I guarantee to you...they taste much, much better than the bought ones.
You need:

g as small as possible gherkins

white onions

tsp peppercorns
For the liquid:

ml white wine vinegar

ml water

time: 30 min + 24 hours to infuse
This is how we proceed:
Clean the cucumber thoroughly and cut in slices (not too thin). Peel onions and cut into strips. Place cucumber and onion in a bowl and mix. Then give in sterilized jars. Add spices.
In a pot add water, vinegar, sugar and salt and heat. Remove from the heat when it starts to boil. Pour the liquid over the cucumbers. Place a knife under the jars in order not to crack.
Seal the jars and let them stand for 24 hours at room temperature. After that the pickles are ready for consuming.
Store in a cold place.
