My friend Iulia is the proud owner of a small garden. And that in the center of Vienna. How I envy her for that! What's so great about such a garden? Well, you can lie whenever you want in your own garden, you can grow vegetables, herbs or flowers. Or you can grill. Luckily, I'm always present when she grills. So I can try out a few barbecue recipes and share them with you. If also the neighbors are so happy that's another story. But if they will ever complain, than we will invite them too :)
Today,
I have a chicken skewers recipe. Stop...don’t go away! Don’t worry if you don’t
have the opportunity to grill - you can
cook this recipe also in the pan.
You need:
400
g chicken fillet
1
eggplant
1
zucchini
2-3
red onions
cocktail
tomatoes
salt
pepper
This is how we
proceed:
Wash
the vegetables and peel if necessary. Cut eggplant and zucchini into cubes. Cut
onion into quarters. Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Alternately thread the
chicken, eggplant, zucchini, onion and cocktail tomatoes onto skewers. Put the
skewers onto a plate and season with salt and pepper.
Place
skewers on the grill and roast on all sides. If you don’t have the possibility
to grill, then heat some oil in a pan and fry the skewers from all sides.
I want to thank Iulia for allowing us to always grill at her place. Thank you! And what about you? Do you have the opportunity to grill?
