Spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino is one of the easiest pasta recipes. And I have never eaten it. Hard to believe, right? How can it be? There is a very simple explanation: although you can find this dish in almost all restaurants, I've never ordered it. Why? Because it is such a simple dish that you can cook it quickly at home and when I go to the restaurant, I want to try something fancy. And why did it took so long until I cooked it? Well, because there was always something more interesting to be cooked. But today my fridge was empty...and so I was finally able to cook spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino. And now when I write this post, I enjoy another serving.
You need:
spaghetti
50 ml olive oil
3-4 garlic cloves
1-2 peppers
This is how you
proceed:
Cook pasta al dente.
Pour the olive oil in a pan and heat. Peel the garlic and press into the pan. Cut peppers into slices and add. Cook the whole for 2-3 minutes until the flavours spread.

Add pasta and stir fry for 2 minutes.
Place on plates and garnish with basil and Parmesan cheese (for the non vegan readers).
And what about you? Is there a dish that is so easy to prepare, you can find it on every menu, but you have not tried it yet?
