Dear
people! I have so many recipes that I want to share with you and this makes it
sometimes hard for me to decide what I should post next. Some recipes are now
waiting to see the light of the day for more than a year...you can also see
that by the quality of the pictures. But not today's recipe. I baked this plum
bundt cake two weeks ago. Since the plums still have season, I thought I share
the recipe with you (and not wait another year or more to do so).
You need:
250
g butter
250
g sugar
350
g flour
250
g plums
100
ml whipping cream
4
eggs
1
tbsp vanilla sugar
1
tbsp baking powder
2
pinces cinnamon
This is how we
proceed:
Preheat
oven to 180°C degrees.
In
a bowl whisk together butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon until foamy.
Separate the eggs and stir in egg yolks (one after the other). Mix the flour
and baking powder and then shift it over the other ingredients. Mix again. Add
cream and mix. Batter will be thick.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Here you need some muscle power. I will suggest to ask a strong man to help. Aren’t any nearby? Do not despair. Then help yourself by using the hand mixer.
Wash plums, dry them, cut in half and remove seeds. Cut into small pieces and stir them in.
Grease form with butter and dust with flour. Pour the batter into the form and bake for 60 minutes, or until a cake tester or toothpick comes out clean.
