A dear work colleague brought me some cookies from her favorite spa. I was happy about this and then I get on working. Later, I wanted to eat something sweet and so I tried one of the biscuits. And I was instantly in love. They are so delicious, you can not imagine. After all the "Ohhhh" and "Ahhhh" and "Mmmmm" and "Whoa, are the delicious" I read what I actually eat. On the packet it was written: sweet loaf of bread. And what do I do next? You guessed it...I am looking for a recipe on the internet. I found one and after that I baked them...ok, not quite after then but Saturday I baked this sweet bread loaves. I tell you something...someone has to hide them from me...they taste so good.
For around 30 pieces
you need:
3
eggs (separated in white and yolk)
200
g powder sugar + some more for dusting
250
g almonds, grounded
200
g milk chocolate, grated
1
tsp cinnamon
3
tbsp flour
2
tbsp Amaretto
How do we proceed:
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff.
Mix egg yolks with the icing sugar until fluffy. Ass the almonds and stir with the hand mixer. Add chocolate, cinnamon, flour and Amaretto and mix well. Fold in the egg white and let the dough rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
With a teaspoon take some dough, shape into balls and roll in sugar powder.
Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15 minutes. Let them cool and enjoy the sweet bread loaves.
