Rhubarb cake
Monday, May 20, 2013
Hey. How are you? Did you spend the holiday well? I don’t know how the weather is where you are, but in Vienna it is not so nice. Now the sun is shining, but it is not so warm...only 16 degrees. Yesterday and today it was raining so it is not possible to spend the day outside. So I decided to bake a rhubarb cake. And now I share the recipe with you.

Hi. 2 weeks ago I received an email from Nina who works for the Philadelphia PR-agcency. Nina then told me that Philadelphia Austria search the Cake Stars, and asked me if I want to participate to this campaign. First, I did no want, but when I saw the price, and I decided to try my luck. Now you ask yourself why I change my mind. The first place in each category is a baking course with Lisl Wagner-Bacher. Now you understand why I had to take part at this event! Nina was so kind and sent me a packet that included a cake pan, ladyfingers, gelatin, a pattern and a small Philadelphia recipe book.

Today, I present to you the recipe for Asparagus with lime-butter, capers and salmon tartare.
Coca-Cola cake
Wednesday, May 1, 2013
Do
you like Coca Cola? I don’t. No, it is not because I believe that Coke is
unhealthy or that it dissolves teeth and bones. I just don’t like the taste.
The same applies also to Fanta. In the past (this means, long, long time ago),
I often drank cola but today I drink it only when there is no alternative. You
wonder now why I am telling you all this? Although I'm not a Coke lover, I was
quite curious when I saw a Coca-Cola cake recipe. And because I like to
experiment and try new things out, I had to bake this cake.
