Is there anything better to do on a cold winter evening than reading a good book and drinking a glass of red wine or a hot chocolate? I'm a little bookworm and I have almost always a book with me. Whenever I have some time, I read. Mostly I read in the subway when I go to work or in the city or on my way back home. It does not matter if I have only 5 minutes. And sometimes, when the book is so exciting and I don't want to let it out of hand, then I also read at home over a glass of good wine or a hot chocolate.
And
because the homemade hot chocolate tastes the best, today I have a recipe for
you. But this is not a simple hot chocolate recipe, but a extra creamy one. You
don’t believe me? Then you have to convince yourselves.
You need:
200
ml milk
150
ml liquid cream
1
tbsp cornstarch
2
tbsp sugar
80
g chocolate
optional:
cinnamon stick
How do we proceed:
Mix in a cup the cornstarch with 3 tablespoons cream. Chop chocolate coarsely. Add the milk and cream in a pot and heat it. When bubbles begin to form, add the sugar and cinnamon stick and stir. Add cornstarch, stir with the whisk and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate. With a whisk stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
Pour in cups and serve.
Have I convinced you? Will you spend your evenings from time to time with a good book and a cup of creamy hot chocolate?
