Marinated prawns

A few days ago I showed you on my Facebook page, what I’ve cooked for breakfast but also for lunch. And now it 's time that I share at least a recipe with you. I decided to show you the marinated prawns ... maybe you want to cook them also. But do not worry, the recipe for buttermilk waffles will also be posted.

But now let us get back to the prawns.

For 1 serving you need:


200 g prawns
200 ml red wine
100 ml olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1 dry chili pepper
1 tsp coarse salt
1 tsp peppercorns

This is how you proceed:

Wash the prawns and place in a bowl. Pour red wine and olive oil over the prawns until they are completely covered. Peel garlic and cut into slices and add to the prawns. Cut chilli into slices and also add to the prawns. Season with salt and pepper.

Cover with plastic wrap and give over night in the refrigerator. The next day pour marinade in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer the prawns for 5 minutes in the marinade, take them out, arrange on plates and serve.
