My dear readers, today I present to you a recipe from my childhood. When I was a kid, my mother made these delicious truffles on special occasions (e.g. birthdays, Christmas). I could not get enough of them. We were not allowed to eat too many because they contain alcohol soaked sour cherries. I remember that I always ate these cherries...because they tasted so good. This year I went home and brought with me this recipe...and of course the cherries (they are used to make homemade cherry liqueur). I made than the truffles and today I share the recipe with you.
Give cookies in the chopper and crumble. Give biscuits crumbs in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and knead well.
You need:
60
g biscuits
160
g icing sugar
60
g melted butter
3
tbsp cherry liqueur
3
tbsp milk
3
tbsp cacao
in
alcohol soaked cherries/ amarena cherries/
cocktail cherries
From
the ingredients you get 18-20 truffles (depending on their size).
This is how we proceed:
Give cookies in the chopper and crumble. Give biscuits crumbs in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and knead well.
Take about 1 tablespoon dough, flatten, make a hole with your finger, put in the cherry and roll to a ball. If necessary add or remove dough. Roll truffles in icing sugar and give for a hour in the refrigerator. After that you can enjoy these delicious truffles.
