Tarte flambée with cranberry jam, onion and goat cheese



The second place of the Facebook voting has been won by this tart flambée with cranberry jam, onions and goat cheese. Since the voting some time has passed, but now the recipe is finally online.


You need:


For the dough:
For the topping:
250 g wheat flour
200 g crème fraîche
½ cube fresh yeast
300 g goat cheese
125 ml lukewarm water
2 red onions
½ tsp sugar
cranberry jam
60 g butter
fresh rosemary
½ tsp salt
honey


From these amounts you get 4 small or 2 large tart.


This is how we proceed:


Put flour into a bowl, make a hole, crumble the yeast and mix with the water and sugar. Cover the bowl and put it aside in a warm place, for 10 minutes.

Melt the butter over low heat, then put it aside.

Add salt and butter and knead thoroughly. Cover and let rise in a warm place for another 45 minutes.



Tarte flambée dough


Preheat oven at 220° C. Knead the dough, cut in half or in four and roll out each piece into thin flat cakes. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Spread all tarte flambée with crème fraîche. Peel onions and cut into rings. Cut cheese into thin slices. Spread cheese and onions on the dough base. Place some jam on the tarts and sprinkle the cheese with honey. Sprinkle with rosemary.

Bake on the middle rack for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is golden-brown. Cut tarte flambée into pieces and serve.
