Tarte flambée with bacon, blue cheese and onion

Whenever movie night is on my program there must be something to nibble/ eat. We talk here about snacks, popcorn, pizza or tarte flambée. That was the case a few weeks ago. I organized a cozy movie night and for this I baked a delicious tarte flambée with bacon, blue cheese and onion. The pictures were taken quickly (therefore, they are not so special) and after that I enjoyed the evening.

You need:

crème fraîche
blue cheese
diced bacon
onion
cherry tomatoes
olives

This is how we proceed:

  1. Preheat oven at 220° C. Knead the dough and halve. On a baking paper roll out each piece into thin flat cakes. Place the paper on a baking tin.
  2. Spread flatbread with crème fraîche.
  3. Peel onion and cut into rings.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese, bacon, onions and tomatoes on the dough.
  5. Bake on the middle rack for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Spread olives over the tarte flambée and serve.
