Hello my dears! I think it's really time to show you a fig-free recipe. Therefore, today we have calamari alla griglia. I like seafood very, very much and I hope you like the recipe too.

We need:


400 g calamari
400 g sepia (cuttlefish)
juice from ½ lemon
3 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove
salt

How do we proceed:

If you use fresh calamari, you have to proceed as follows:

Wash the calamari. Grasp with one hand and pull gently with your other hand the head tentacles. Throw the head away. Remove the transparent ink bag and the backbone of the body. The tubes must remain whole. Peel the outer brown skin and wash under cold water.

I used frozen calamari. Wash and defrost them. Place them in a bowl.

Mix the juice of ½ lemon with the olive oil.

Peel the garlic and squeeze. Give it to the lemon olive oil marinade.

Season the marinade with salt and pour over the calamari. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.




Then cook on the grill or in a pan for 5-7 minutes on both sides.

Arrange on a plate and serve. I served them with rocket salad and grilled cheese.
