Lime tart with figs

Hey there! I stick to my promise to post recipes with figs. I hope you are not yet tired of the figs. I find they taste so delicious. But don’t worry...the fig season will eventually come to an end :)! Today I have for you a recipe for a lime tart with figs.

We need:

For the crust:
For the filling:
180 g cold butter

Grease the tart form.

Place the dough on a floured surface, roll out about 30 cm and place in the pie form. Press the dough firmly at the edge.

Stab the crust several times with a fork and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
Wash and dry the limes. Grate the peel of the 2 limes.

Squeeze the juice from the limes. I used the juice from 4 limes, but since the filling is too acidic, I recommend to use the juice from 2.

Mix in a bowl 100g sugar with the eggs.

Add the cream cheese, lime juice as well as the sugar powder and mix.

Add the zest.

Wash and dry the figs. Cut them in halve.

Pour the liquid lime cream over the pastry. Top with figs.
