Home made chips

If you do not like to eat the chips that are found in shops but are still looking for an alternative, then I have just the right thing for you.

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 medium potatoes
  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • oil for frying
  • Spices (e.g. pepper, pizza seasoning, garlic, salt)

Preparation:

Wash the potatoes well, peel them and cut into thin slices. Add them in a bowl with fresh, cold water and let them there for about 15 minutes (so they will be crispy).

Mix oil and spices in a bowl and add the potatoes.

Heat up oil in a pan (the potato slices must float in the pan) and fry the potato slices in it.

Place on kitchen paper (so that the excess oil is absorbed). The chips should not be stacked on each other, otherwise they will be soft.

And you're done. Very easy, right?
