I wanted to make crème brûlée since an eternity. About 2 years ago I have even purchased a crème brûlée set purchased with bowls and a burner. It took 1 year to fill the burner with gas. And another 6 months until I finally tried out the set. There are now so many variations crème brûlée. Initially I wanted to make the classic crème brûlée, but then I've changed my mind and made this delicious eggnog crème brûlée. I had to do something with the homemade eggnog. So, if you still have eggnog, then you can try the recipe.

I managed also this year in the last minute to publish a few Easter recipes. I know that some of my blogger colleagues bake/ cook and prepare months in advance the Easter recipes, but I can not do it. It's kind of funny to think about Easter recipes in winter, just after Christmas. Or? What do you say? I baked this Easter bread 2 weeks ago. I wanted to make them last year, but I didn’t make it. Easter is celebrated each year, so the recipe made it on the blog this year. I won’t bore you any longer and leave you with the recipe.

2 years ago I showed you an eggnog recipe. But as one of the ingredients is condensed milk, which cannot be found always and everywhere, I decided to try another recipe this year. It is just as easy to make and tastes just as good as the other one. The only difference is that you can find all the ingredients in any supermarket. You don’t believe me? Here's the proof:

This apple-carrot-cake is waiting since 2014 to see the light of the day. Looking for suitable recipes for Easter in my folder I discovered this recipe. And when I read it, I saw that it is even vegan. I can remember that the cake tasted very good and I wanted to bake it often. I will certainly bake it again this year. Every now and then I bake bread. And this although I don’t eat so much bread respectively I am very satisfied with the quality of the Austrian bread. This time I baked a Turkish flatbread. I had such gusto but I forgot to buy one. Since I had all the ingredients, I got down to work. And behold...I succeed.

Although breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we often eat something unhealthy or even skip it. Take me as an example: I cannot eat right after waking up. 1 to 2 hours must pass until I can have breakfast. During the week, it is impossible for me to have a balanced breakfast. In order to have a balanced breakfast I often eat overnight oats. The great thing is that overnight oats are prepared the night before, are healthy (they contain calcium, vitamin B1). A further advantage is that you can prepare them in so many different ways. This time I choose a vegan version.
